Drawing for Grades 6-10 Students learn how to manipulate line, shape, color, space, and texture, in order to render realistic objects and scenes. They learn shading and the use of color, light and shadow. Projects include still life, portraits, figure drawing, and landscape, using charcoal, pencil, marker, pen, pastels, and other media. The focus of this class is to improve students' skills. No experience is required. Students will be pushed to excel at their own rate.

Drawing for Grades 3-5 In this class, children build on their skills. They enhance their ability to use line, shape, form, and space. They learn proportionality and one point perspective. They begin to study shading, light, and shadow. Students draw faces, bodies, animals, still life, optical illusions, and scenery. The class is taught using pencil and sometimes pastels, colored pencil, art markers, or watercolors. The class offes a mix of different drawing styles in addition to basic drawing, including cartooning, Japanese Manga, and street art. No experience is required.

Drawing for Grades 1-2 In this class, students learn the elements of fine art - line, shape, color, form, space, value, and texture. They build a foundation in drawing and gain a new way to view the world around them. They learn how to draw what they see and not just to draw from their imagination, although both concepts are valued. The class is mainly taught using pencil. We will sometimes add color with pastels, colored pencil, art markers, or watercolor
